The Boardroom

On the third floor is the boardroom, in the venue’s distinctive blue shade, with its imposing mahogany conference table designed by Carl Malmsten.
For 23 years, Johannes Norrby, the legendary concert hall director, was based here. World famous conductors and artists were paid cash in hand in the boardroom, with the money kept in a safe located inside the tile stove door.
