Tomas Gertonsson
Member of the orchestra since 1983.
Double bass player Tomas Gertonsson has been a member of the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra since 1983. He studied at the Academy of Music and Drama in Gothenburg and then with Franco Petracchi in Italy. Gertonsson is also a member of the Stockholm Sinfonietta. He can regularly be heard in various chamber music contexts, including in Konserthuset’s Soup Concerts and Philharmonic Up-Close.
