Henrik Peterson

Member of the orchestra since 2013.

Henrik Peterson has been a member of the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra since 2013. He studied at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm where he earned his degree, and at the Conservatory in Lucerne, Switzerland, where he was also a member of the chamber orchestra Festival Strings. In addition, he studied under Franco Gulli at Indiana University Bloomington.

For three years in the early 2000s, Henrik was employed with the Royal Swedish Orchestra. He then freelanced, primarily with the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, but also with the symphony orchestras in Norrköping and Gävle, and other professional orchestras. In addition to his regular position with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, for three years he has been a principal player in the string quartet Yggdrasil and he has participated in concerts with Orpheus Baroque.
