Blue House Youth Jazz Festival 2019
The Blue House Youth Jazz Festival is aimed at members of big bands and jazz ensembles based at the nation’s culture and music institutions, or those attending aesthetic programmes at upper secondary schools, adult education centres or university colleges of music.
On 22–24 March 2019, tomorrow’s musicians will gather at Sweden’s largest youth jazz festival. The festival focuses on members of big bands and jazz ensembles from Sweden’s various culture schools, upper-secondary school programmes focused on the arts, folk high schools and music colleges. This will be three days filled with workshops and clinics featuring both Swedish and international jazz musicians, concerts and competitions.
Friday 22 March 2019
Festival begins with registration at Konserthuset Stockholm, festival inauguration, programme of workshops and more, and concluding jazz concert in Konserthuset’s main hall.

Competition day at Konserthuset Stockholm presenting this year’s big band and jazz ensemble competitions. Open to the public.
