Guided Tours for Schools

Gives pupils the opportunity to delve deeper into a subject, with their own guide.

Our guided tours allow pupils to find out more about what it’s like to be a musician, and go behind the scenes. Take a closer look at all the fantastic art and architecture at Konserthuset Stockholm and learn more about the Nobel Prize Award Ceremony.

Among Cello Cases and Musical Scores

For pupils in pre-school up to year six

Go behind the scenes at Konserthuset Stockholm and find out more about the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra. How does a symphony orchestra work, and what are all the instruments called? Our music guide explains things and answers questions, while pupils can try an instrument and find out what it’s like to be a musician. 

Duration: around 35 minutes. 

Konserthuset Stockholm’s Art and Architecture

For students in year seven and above 

A guided tour of Konserthuset Stockholm’s neoclassical home, focusing on art, history and architecture. 

Duration: around 60 minutes.

Nobel Tour 

For students in year seven and above

A guided tour of the Nobel Prize Award Ceremony, in English. Look around the hall in which Royal personages, Laureates and members of the academy gather each year to attend the world famous award ceremony.

Duration: around 30 minutes.

Price:

20 SEK per pupil (free of charge for adults/teachers).
