Summer musicians: Trio con Brio

Trio con Brio is a trio consisting of Stina Åkerberg, Amanda Frisendahl and Victor Liljefors. They have known one another for many years and graduated from Lilla Akademien’s music upper-secondary school in June 2017.

All three have worked with music in various forms since childhood. Currently, Stina is studying vocals as a soprano and Amanda is studying vocals as a mezzosoprano at Vadstena Sång och Pianoakademi (Vadstena Vocal and Piano Academy). Victor is studying organ at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. Trio con Brio formed in 2017 based on a shared interest in lieds. 

Vadstena Sång och Pianoakademi specialises in lied interpretations and has given Amanda and Stina excellent opportunities to develop and deepen their understanding of the connection between music and lyrics. Victor is highly interested in exploring the close connection between pianist and vocalists in the lied genre.
