Summer musicians: Jazzum Obscurum
Jazz Quintet inspired by legendary musicians of the 1950s.
Jazzum Obscurum is a quintet consisting of Lova Hummel on vocals, Elias Larsson on vibraphone and piano, Patrik Utterström on guitar, Jacob Sandberg on bass and Albin Eklund on drums. All members attend Södra Latin upper secondary school, with a focus on music.
The quintet is focused primarily on jazz from the 1950s and forward, with inspiration from John Coltrane’s classic quartet; they also play their own compositions and arrangements. Jazzum Obscurum has performed together for just over a year.
