Pianist and composer Aaron Diehl is one of the most in-demand jazz virtuosos of our time. His style is infused with a tasteful blend of tradition and innovation, which can be heard on his latest record, The Vagabond, released in early 2020.

Aaron Diehl will now be performing at Konserthuset Stockholm with his trio and the celebrated Chilean saxophonist Melissa Aldana. She grew up in Santiago, where she created buzz already as a teenager before moving to the US and studying at the Berklee School of Music in Boston. After graduating in 2009 at the age of 20, she moved to New York. The Washington Post has said that she represents “a new sense of possibility and direction in jazz”. Her latest album, Visions, was released in 2019.
