Summer musicians: Obrigada Trio
Swedish, Brazilian and Cuban with young jazz trio.
Obrigada Trio is a jazz trio founded in 2021 in Södra Latins Gymnasium’s music programme. The trio consists of Hedda Örnsten, piano; Märta Fredriksson, double bass; and Alma Stackenäs, vocals. Obrigada Trio focuses on new and old music alike from Swedish, Brazilian and Cuban music traditions, alongside American jazz standards. All members of the trio recently graduated and aim to continue playing together and to deepen their music studies.
