Swedish song traditions with emphasis on the music of Cornelis Vreeswijk.
The four members of Saskia are second-year students in the Södra Latin music programme. The repertoire is based on Swedish songwriting, particularly the music of Cornelis Vreeswijk. Additional influences include Evert Taube, Victor Jara, Carl Michael Bellman and more. Saskia aims to carry Cornelis and the Swedish song tradition onward. The quartet consists of Malte Qviström Öhrwall, vocals; Oscar Dahlkvist, guitar; Julian Wiklund Pöntinen, bass; and Sam Öhd, drums.
