Romanskvällar
Five Wednesdays at 19.00
Music and lyrics are woven together, turning music into poetry and poetry into music. At the popular lied evenings, we hear our time’s major and established singers, as well as rising stars. British tenor Mark Padmore and Swedish soprano Christina Nilsson are two such examples.

Since then, she has been considered one of Europe’s elite singers. She won a Grammy for Best Classical Solo Vocal Album and was appointed Kammersängerin at the Berlin State Opera.
Dorothea Röschmann appeared in her first lied concert at Konserthuset in 2021, which can be seen on Konserthuset Play. Since then, she debuted with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra in a performance in autumn 2022 of Wagner’s Wesendonck songs. Since first collaborating at Konserthuset, Röschmann and pianist Magnus Svensson have performed together elsewhere in the world.
Magnus Svensson has served as artistic director of Lied Evenings for several seasons. In addition to concerts in the Nordic region and elsewhere in Europe, he has also performed in Russia and the US. Since 2012, he has also worked at the Royal Swedish Academy of Music with re-publishing older Swedish music.
