Blue House Jazz – Francesca Tandoi Trio

In recent years, the Italian pianist (and vocalist) Francesca Tandoi has gained international recognition and performed with a host of jazz greats. Her flawless technique and rhythmic energy, in particular, have been highlighted, with talk of her being a successor to legends like Oscar Peterson and Monty Alexander. In other words, we're talking about explosive and life-affirming jazz, melodic and with a clear swing.

Now, Francesca Tandoi visits Konserthuset Stockholm for the first time with her own trio. Besides Tandoi, the trio includes Frits Landesbergen on drums, who has played with luminaries such as Toots Thielemans and Georgie Fame, and Stefano Senni on bass, who has worked with artists like Art Farmer, Lee Konitz, and Randy Brecker.
