Erik Rodell
Member of the orchestra since 2009.
Erik Rodell studied at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, where he was accepted at the age of 16. His teachers include Alf Nilsson.
He used to be alternate section leader in the Norrköping Symphony Orchestra and has been an oboist with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra since 2001, with a break in 2007–2009, when he was alternate section leader for the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra and then solo oboist with the Royal Swedish Orchestra.
With the 2009–2010 season, Erik Rodell was back once again with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra.
