Anna Stefánsson
Member of the orchestra since 2005.
Anna Stefánsson has been a member of the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra since 2005. She studied at the Music Conservatory in Falun and at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, where she also pursued studies in the chamber music department at Edsberg Castle.
Anna Stefánsson has regularly participated in Konserthuset’s chamber music subscriptions and in spring 2009, she was one of the soloists in Kurt Atterberg’s Suite for Violin, Viola and Strings. In 2006, she was presented with a newly instituted youth scholarship – “in the spirit of Vladimir Ashkenazy” – by the Friends of the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra. Anna Stefánsson is also a member of the Stockholm Sinfonietta.
