Kaja Romih

Flute

Slovenian flute player Kaja Romih studied in Ljubljana in her native Slovenia, and then in Cologne, Germany. In Cologne, she completed her master’s degree in solo and orchestral performance under Robert Winn and Thaddeus Watson. She has played with several orchestras in Germany, Italy and Slovenia.

As a soloist, Kaja Romih has performed with ensembles including the Slovenian Philharmonic in flute concertos by Carl Nielsen and Carl Reinecke as well as Mozart’s Concerto in G Major. She has previously been an academy musician in the Mahler Chamber Orchestra.
