Wagner Fest

Get into shape for Wagner! Shortly, the second act of Tristan and Isolde – Wagner’s wonderful music drama about timeless love – is performed at Konserthuset. Take this opportunity to return to the glorious Wagner soprano Nina Stemme in two concerts from 2020: one with music from Tannhäuser and Tristan and Isolde, the other with Wagner’s Wesendonck Songs. These songs can also be heard in a more intimate setting in the Lied concert with alto Anna Larsson and pianist Magnus Svensson.

Nina Stemme, superstar on the world's opera stages, in Wagner's Wesendonck-Lieder. On the programme also Debussy's Prélude à l’après-midi d’un faune and Schubert's ”Unfinished” (Symphony no. 8). The Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra is led by Alan Gilbert.
