Summer musicians: The Sister Sessions

This vocal ensemble offers a unique choral sound and a repertoire spanning everything from classical to folk music.

The Sister Sessions is a vocal ensemble consisting of four young women aged between 16–18 who have all attended Adolf Fredrik’s Music School. Their repertoire includes everything from classical to folk music. The ensemble endeavours to achieve their own unique choral sound with a balance between the individual parts and an emphasis on conveying emotion, mood and storytelling while moving listeners.

The Sister Sessions does not have a leader; rather, they develop their own interpretations and arrangements. The Sister Sessions’ members are Amelie Karlsbro, Liv Nyberg, Saga Ahndoril and Julia Ahndoril.
