Eva Ayllón
The queen of Afro-Peruvian soul in a long-awaited concert
Eva Ayllón is one of Peru’s most prominent and beloved stars – the embodiment of the country’s historic musical trove. Already as a child, she began her career by singing at school and in competitions, and later on television and the radio. Ayllón combines her native Peruvian, West African and Spanish influences in a style known in Spanish as Musica Criolla.
She is particularly well known for the Afro-Peruvian singing and dancing genres of Landó and Festejo. To date, Eva has released over 20 records and she regularly tours the globe.
In hopes of making her music relevant for today and to bring generations together, she and her musicians embrace musical freedom, and it is always an incredible experience to see them perform live.
