LP release concert with acclaimed KOK 

At this concert, Karl Olandersson Kvartett, or KOK as they are also known, release the critically acclaimed record “Walk And Talk” on LP. Many consider the quartet to be Sweden’s best jazz act, and this concert includes captivating swing, melodic and rhythmic elegance, dynamic tension and a world-class ensemble performance. The musicians in the band are among Sweden’s top jazz musicians and the extensive knowledge of jazz traditions united in the quartet brings a personal touch to Karl Olandersson’s music. The quartet formed in 2017 and have now released three albums.

Karl Olandersson is originally from Hedemora and is one of Sweden’s most popular jazz trumpet players. In addition to his own quartet, he frequently appears as a soloist on various jazz stages, and also does work for TV productions such as Let’s Dance, Idrottsgalan and Allsång på Skansen. As a trumpet player, Karl is inspired by the greats of jazz history, from Armstrong to Marsalis. His personal musical style is rich with spontaneity, technical and rhythmic finesse, melody, and plenty of variation when it comes to register and dynamics.
