Adrian Eriksson

Swedish double bass player Adrian Eriksson studied at the Academy of Music and Drama in Gothenburg under Jan Alm. He continued his studies in Germany, both in Hanover at Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media, under Ekkehard Beringer, and in Düsseldorf at the Robert Schumann Hochschule under Rick Stotijn, completing his master’s degree in 2022.

He has previously been an academy musician in the Mahler Chamber Orchestra and a trainee with the NDR Radiophilharmonie. In Sweden, he has substituted with the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra and Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra. Adrian Eriksson recently released the album Elégie: Rachmaninov on Double Bass, and is also active as a composer.
