Danish percussionist Johan Møllebjerg played piano as a child but then gradually shifted to percussion. He studied at the Danish National Academy of Music in Odense, where he earned his bachelor’s degree under Søren Monrad and Swedish percussionist Johan Bridger.
Johan Møllebjerg has performed with ensembles such as the Copenhagen Phil, Danish National Symphony Orchestra, Aalborg Symphony Orchestra (including as soloist), Aarhus Symphony Orchestra, Odense Symphony Orchestra, South Denmark Philharmonic and the Royal Danish Orchestra.
