Mario Morueta Delclós

Mario Morueta Delclós, from Andalusia, studied at the Catalonia College of Music in Barcelona for Damián Martínez and at the Malmö Academy of Music with Samuli Örnströmer. He won first prize at the Andrés de Vandelvira Competition in Jaén in Spain, and has performed as soloist in Haydn’s Cello Concerto No. 2 in D major.
He has played with JONDE (the Spanish National Youth Orchestra) and the Norwegian National Youth Orchestra, and has gained professional experience through internships with the Barcelona Symphony Orchestra and the Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra.
