Anna Gréta is one of the most interesting young discoveries of Nordic Jazz. Sophisticated piano craftsmanship meets a haunting voice and multifaceted songwriting. She combines elements from jazz, pop and folk and thus creates a Nordic sound that her native Iceland gave her from childhood.

On her critically acclaimed debut album Nightjar in a northern Sky, on the prestigious German label ACT, Anna Gréta Sigurdardóttir creates a unique mix of intimacy and elegance. The title is a metaphor for the Scandinavian expanse, tranquility and the close connection between people and nature.

Anna Gréta Sigurdardóttir a multiple award-winning rising star. She received the Swedish Monica Zetterlund Award in 2019 and played at the Nobel Prize Ceremony in 2020. She debuted at the Konserthuset Stockholm with her own trio during the pandemic in March 2021, in a livestreamed concert without audience.

This time, she is joined by an Icelandic-Swedish quartet.
