Friskis&Svettis – Introduction

Welcome to six different workouts with classical music. Choose to do one of the sessions for a short break in everyday life. Or run all workouts in one go and as a cultural training experience of just under 20 minutes.

Genre:

Warm-up with Offenbach

Loosen up your body in a soft flow with the music as a guide. You move to the smoothly swinging Barcarole from The Tales of Hoffmann by Jacques Offenbach.

Genre:

Gear up in the Hall of the Mountain King

Start gently and then speed up your moves to get your heartbeat going. Edvard Grieg’s famous music from the Peer Gynt Suite begins very softly, and gradually increases to high intensity.

Genre:

Mobility with Peer Gynt

Work with flexibility and dynamic mobility for both upper and lower body to Morning Mood, sparkling and idyllic music by Edvard Grieg.

Genre:

Leg strength with Beethoven’s Fifth

You use the power of music to give your legs and balance a real challenge. Your workout is accompanied by probably the most famous opening in classical music: Da-da-da-daa… from Ludwig van Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony.

Genre:

”Jympa” to Hungarian Dance

Here is a chance to play with the contrasts between power and sensuality! You will also increase your heart rate with some classic “jympa” moves. Keep the tempo all the way to the end with the help of Johannes Brahms’ dancing music.

Genre:

Relaxation with Satie

With gentle movements, you slow down and at the same time work on the back rotation and stretch the back thighs. A peaceful waltz by Erik Satie helps you relax.
