Unique Duo in Intimate Jazz Concert
The versatile French accordionist Richard Galliano moves freely across genres, from jazz to classical, in a long line of various collaborations and ensemble constellations. He has worked with the Swedish jazz pianist Jan Lundgren, and recently recorded an album of interpretations of works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
We will hear him in this duo concert with legendary American bassist Ron Carter, who has played with Thelonius Monk, Miles Davis, Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock and many, many more.
Richard Galliano and Ron Carter’s extremely special collaboration goes back about 35 years and was first documented in the live recording Panamanhattan (1990).
