Summer musicians: Kaufmankvartetten
String quartet with music from Swedish classics to romantic favourites.
Kaufmankvartetten consists of André Kaufman (first violin), Isabel Godau (second violin), Alice Nilsson (viola) and Sara-Rebecka Ericsson (cello). The musicians are all students at the Royal College of Music/Edsberg Music Institute in Stockholm, where they met and began playing together in autumn 2017.
The string quartet offers a wonderful blend of various types of music, which is why the programme is described as including “everything from Swedish classics to romantic favourites”.
