Frida Modén Treichl stands between Whitney Houston and Dolly Parton with a dream, an ADHD diagnosis, and a desire to understand which box everyone’s always talking about – the one you’re supposed to think in- or outside of. Above all this, I wish … is the story of her journey through music, love and life. This inspiring show about role models empowers us and gives us desire to understand ourselves, our circumstances and our choices in life. 

Frida Modén Treichl is a singer, songwriter, actor, and musical theatre actor. She has acted in some of the biggest musicals, including as Maria in the Sound of Music at Uppsala Stadsteater, Anita in West Side Story at GöteborgsOperan and Sally Bowles in Cabaret at Malmö Stadsteater. 

Directed by Kajsa Isakson with new music by Frida Modén Treichl and Nils-Petter Ankarblom. This show was created as a partnership between Östgötateatern and Folkteatern in Gävleborg, with support from the Swedish Arts Grants Committee.
