Kulturnatt Stockholm – Kizelo Mleko

Kizelo Mleko is a swirlingly rhythmic Balkan and klezmer band from Stockholm. Its music is rooted in melodies from eastern Europe, played against a clear backdrop of pop, rock and even classical music. Expect to be tapping your feet to swinging Balkan beats! Kizelo Mleko’s repertoire is a blend of original compositions by the band itself and arrangements of traditional melodies.

Since its founding more than 15 years ago, Kizelo Mleko has played in venues as diverse as sweaty night clubs and circle-dancing synagogues. Last year, having previously released two EPs, the band debuted its first full-length album: Varning för leoparden! (“Beware the Leopard!”).
