MINI for Kindergarten – Peter and the Wolf
A musical fairy tale for the youngest.
For children 3–5 years old.
The captivating story of Peter and the Wolf must be one of the most popular musical fairy tales ever composed. Based on a Russian folk tale, the story is told through Sergei Prokofiev’s fantastic music and has entertained generations of children and adults since its composition in 1936.
Peter lives a simple life on a farm with his grandfather. He is an outcast among the local children, and his best friends are a bird, a cat and a scatter-brained duck. Despite his grandfather’s warnings, Peter and his friends head out into the appealing yet dangerous woods, where the wolf lies in wait.
After this approx. 30-minute concert, there is a chance to try out different instruments in the foyer.
