Hear and see Sweden’s up-and-coming young pianists compete in an event for the whole family. This is an incredible opportunity to discover all the talent and musical joy to be found among the younger generation of musicians!
The piano and piano music are particularly special to many people. The scope of the instrument, from the deepest bass to the bright treble ring, offers possibilities unparalleled by any other instrument. The Steinway Piano Festival has been held in Sweden since 2001 and is open to pianists under the age of 18. For the third time, this festival will be held in beautiful Grünewald Hall in partnership with Konserthuset Stockholm.
In addition to offering an opportunity for the audience to hear incredible music, the festival also gives these young pianists the chance to listen to one another, exchange experiences and gather around a shared interest in piano music.
The event is expected to last the entire day. Stay for the whole programme, or come and go as you please.
