Once Upon a Time in America; Kill Bill; The Good, the Bad and the Ugly; Cinema Paradiso; A Fistful of Dollars. World-famous film score composer Ennio Morricone has created some of the most legendary soundtracks of all time. He won an Oscar in 2016 for the soundtrack to Quentin Tarantino’s movie The Hateful Eight and he has also received the Polar Prize.
Fifty years ago, Morricone was immortalized with the music to Once Upon a Time in the West, and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly with Clint Eastwood in the leading role has been ranked second place in the list of the 200 best soundtracks ever recorded.
His many fans will now have the chance to experience his unforgettable music live. Over 100 soloists, singers and musicians from The Milano Festival Opera will take the main stage at Konserthuset, led by prominent conductor Marco Seco, to bring Morricone’s magical music to life. Movie scenes and animation will be shown with the music.
