Stockholm Swing All Stars in Concert

Stockholm Swing All Stars takes the big stage at Konserthuset with joy and a sense of anticipation that has been building up for over a year and simply must be let out.

The evening will offer new but familiar songs in arrangements written by the band, for the band. Some of these arrangements are beautiful; others are intricate; some are bluesy and captivating – but all are filled with soul, playfulness and swing.

Much of tonight’s music has just been recorded and the concert is in celebration of the album release. The new album will be sold at a special price at this album release concert.

Shooting star Karl Olandersson handles the top register with his sure-fire trumpet, and Göran Lind’s solid bass experience has the bottom register covered. In between we have Sweden’s foremost swing drummer Mattias Puttonen and the endlessly innovative and popular Daniel Tilling on piano. Don’t miss Fredrik Lindborg’s magnificent tenor sax and Klas Lindquist’s elegant alto sax and clarinet. And trombone player Dicken Hedrenius’ endless flow of ideas are always a pleasure to hear.
