Autumn Concert

External organiser: Kungsholmens Gymnasium/Stockholms Musikgymnasium upper secondary school

At last, Stockholms Musikgymnasium gets to present you, our dear audience, with the wonderful annual Autumn Concert! This multihued concert is performed by nearly 300 young singers from Musikgymnasium. We also welcome the 9GH classes from Adolf Fredrik's Music School.

Stockholms Musikgymnasium (SMG) was founded in 1959 as a natural continuation of Adolf Fredrik’s Music School, and has been housed since 1984 in Kungsholmens Gymnasium’s historic building near Fridhemsplan. The music school’s nearly 300 students are either in the natural science or social science programme. In addition to the class choirs, SMG’s chamber choir also performs. The school’s choirs have an outstanding national and international reputation and collaborate regularly with a range of different institutions, including the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, Stockholm Concert Orchestra, Swedish Wind Ensemble and more. The choirs regularly perform in various churches and concert halls, such as Berwaldhallen and Eric Ericsonhallen, and present a popular and well-attended Saint Lucia Day concert in the Blue Hall at Stockholm City Hall.
