Festival & Forum 21 is an initiative to present the power and potential of culture to build a more harmonious society, with music as a gateway.
Festival & Forum 21 is both a music festival and a platform for the research study “From bullet to fiddle” which asks: What would happen if all children got to play music and sing throughout their schooling?
Festival & Forum 21 – June 2025
Festival & Forum 21 welcomes international musicians, choirs and orchestras for concerts to accompany meetings and discussions with musicians, researchers and other involved parties. Can music in partnership with all forms of culture create the conditions for a safer, richer, more harmonious society?
The festival is planned for June 2025 in a location that will be announced shortly.
From bullet to fiddle
Festival & Forum 21 is a platform for an international research study in which several municipalities with different socio-economic conditions are invited to serve as pilot municipalities, in which all children will have the chance to play music throughout their schooling. A research team is tasked with following what happens with the whole community, from the inside out, if all children get to take part in daily music exercises at school.
