Sounds of Spring with Nordiska Musikgymnasiet

External organiser: Nordiska Musikgymnasiet

Welcome to Nordiska Musikgymnasiet upper-secondary school’s spring concert, presenting a range of musical experiences in different chamber music constellations. There will also be music for string orchestra and choir.

Nordiska Musikgymnasiet is an independent upper-secondary school with an emphasis on classical music. In its 20 years in operation, it has become established as one of Sweden’s leading upper-secondary programmes in music. Young rising stars such as cellist Hanna Dahlkvist, conductor Emil Eliasson, organist Joakim Andersson, soprano Annie Ternström, violinist Johan Dalene, pianist Sebastian Iivonen and many others all attended this school.

In addition to a complete upper-secondary education (advanced aesthetic programme that recruits students from all over Sweden), the school offers professional training in music. Nordiska Musikgymnasiet accepts students from throughout Sweden, the Nordic region, and the rest of Europe. Students are admitted for all acoustic instruments, singing, composition and conducting.
