The 2026/27 season is here. We have named it the anniversary season – Konserthuset celebrates its centenary this year, and the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra marks its 125th anniversary in 2027. We present a major Beethoven Festival in spring 2027, featuring all nine symphonies performed by seven orchestras. Chief Conductor Ryan Bancroft leads us into his fourth season with the orchestra. Discover more about the Franco-American composer Betsy Jolas, born in the same year as Konserthuset and at the centre of this autumn’s composer festival. Read the interview with this season’s Composer-in-Residence, Djuro Zivkovic. The autumn jazz programme includes the legendary Wynton Marsalis. Also featured are this season’s portrait artists, who return in several appearances throughout the year – a constellation of stars including Asmik Grigorian, Seong-Jin Cho, Janine Jansen and Beatrice Rana.
