Blue House Youth Jazz Festival 2026

Thank you for this year’s festival. We hope to welcome you back on 9–11 April 2027 for the next edition.
The Blue House Youth Jazz Festival is held annually and is aimed at students and teachers in big bands and jazz ensembles from Sweden’s culture schools, upper secondary arts programmes, folk high schools and music colleges. The festival takes place at Konserthuset Stockholm and Kulturama Hammarby Sjöstad. Over three intensive days, more than 400 students and teachers take part each year in clinics, lectures, concerts and competitions.
In this year’s edition, both international and Swedish jazz artists and educators took part. Participants included: Björn Arkö, Carl Mörner-Ringström, David Stackenäs, Dicken Hedrenius, Eleonor Ferrari, Emeli Ek, Fabia Mantwill, Filip Ekestubbe, Gary Husband, Hildegunn Øiseth, Håkan Goohde, Ida Wretling, Magnus Eriksson, Malin Wättring, Rogério Pitomba, Rubem Farias, Samuel Löfdahl, Sara Aldén, Sara Skoglund, Svante Söderqvist, as well as Tuulikki Bartosik, Adam Forkelid and Konrad Agnas.
