Mats Fredrik Wulff

Mats Fredrik Wulff began playing the oboe at the age of nine. He studied with Beate Aanderud and Paulus van der Merwe at the University of Music in Hamburg, where he completed his bachelor’s degree in 2025.

He has gained experience with several youth orchestras, including the German National Youth Orchestra, and was an academist with the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra. He has also appeared as substitute with the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchester. As a soloist he has performed with the Bremen State Youth Orchestra and the university orchestra in Hamburg. In 2023 he won second prize in the Elise Meyer Competition.
