Summer musicians: Kvintett Kvintessens
Quintet consisting of violin, viola, cello and piano.
Kvintett Kvintessens formed in autumn 2017. The five members are between the ages of 16 and 19 and met at Lilla Akademien, where they are all students. Violinist Hugo Ticciati has served as the quintet’s mentor for the past year.
The members have simultaneously played music with one another in other constellations as well, such as a violin duo, string quartet, and a duo for cello and violin. This autumn will entail further studies at Lilla Akademien and Edsberg Castle for the members.
The members of Kvintett Kvintessens are Ami-Louise Johnsson, violin; Elise Vats Jonsson, violin; Hugo Svensson, viola; Marcus Michelin, cello; and Daniel Xia, piano.
