Geoffrey Keezer Trio with Gillian Margot

On My Way to You – a musical panorama.

Geoffrey Keezer is a multi-Grammy nominated pianist, composer, arranger and producer from Eau Claire, Wisconsin, USA. At just 18 years old, this multitalented musician toured with legendary percussionist Art Blakey and subsequently with greats such as Joshua Redman, Diana Krall, Wayne Shorter, David Sanborn, Christian McBride and Sting.

He will be performing at Konserthuset Stockholm with his own trio and the luminous Canadian singer Gillian Margot. He recently released the record On My Way to You. Here, his own melodies intermingle with fresh, brilliant interpretations of songs composed by names as varied as Stevie Wonder, Jimi Hendrix, John Lennon, Thelonious Monk, Jerome Kern and Michel Legrand.

A musical panorama such as this requires precisely what Geoffrey Keezer possesses. He has a talent for melding a wide range of influences into a single whole, and a unique ability to feature and give life to the musical DNA of each individual song.
