In connecton with an upcoming biography about the composer Laura Netzel, the Royal Swedish Academy of Music presents a conversation with the book’s author, Camilla Hambro, and music researcher Christina Tobeck. It will cover the time and society in which Netzel was active, being a woman in the nineteenth-century music scene, and living under a pseudonym.

As part of the presentation, live music by Netzel will be performed by the pianist Inese Klotina, singer Hillevi Martinpelto and violinist Tobias Ringborg.
