Pat Metheny Trio

The influential guitarist makes a stop in Stockholm on his world tour.

Pat Metheny’s career by now spans over four decades, and his curiosity has showed no signs of weakening: he is a musician that seems to be constantly developing, yet maintaining a distinctive style. He has inspirered generations of musicians.

Hardly anyone can match Pat Metheny’s versatility. He is a seeker and over the years there have been many sparkling collaborations, also far beyond the world of jazz. Metheny has played with many of the greats, for instance Ornette Coleman and Herbie Hancock, but also worked with people like Steve Reich and David Bowie.

He comes to Konserthuset Stockholm with his trio, consisting of the experienced and Polish-born bassist Darek Oleszkiewicz and New Orleans-born drummer Joe Dyson, who has arised as one of the new stars in jazz.
