Summer musicians: Trio Bergovajks

Classical and contemporary with cello, piano and clarinet.

Trio Bergovajk consists of cellist Vigovajk Sagvik, pianist Herman Pellbäck, and clarinettist Benjamin Vincent Gillis, who are all students at Lilla Akademiens Musikgymnasium. The trio formed in autumn 2021, but the idea was born earlier in the spring, upon playing classmate Milosz Krawczyk’s piece Wycinanki for clarinet trio. Trio Bergovajk performs familiar pieces by classical masters, as well as pieces by a younger generation of composers – for example, music composed by the trio’s cellist Vigovajk Sagvik.
