Blue House Youth Jazz Festival – Fabia Mantwill and BHYJF All Star Band

Berlin-based Fabia Mantwill is a composer, saxophonist, singer and conductor whose music moves effortlessly between jazz, classical and folk traditions. With her own Fabia Mantwill Orchestra she continually reimagines and expands the idea of what a jazz orchestra can be.

At this concert she performs with a band made up of young musicians taking part in this year’s festival – the BHYJF All Star Band. The result promises an exciting and vibrant encounter between emerging young musicians and the distinctive, genre-defying artistry of Fabia Mantwill.
