They are frequently seen on many of Europe’s most prestigious classical concert stages. Eva Oertle also performs with prominent orchestras such as Il Giardino Armonico and Al Ayre Español. In addition, her albums on Sony Classical have received acclaim in international music press.
Vesselin Stanev studied at the Paris Conservatory, and with the legendary Bulgarian-born pianist Alexis Weissenberg at the Moscow Conservatory. Stanev regularly performs solo recitals at venues including Wigmore Hall in London, Alte Oper in Frankfurt and the Berliner Philharmonie.
At this concert in Grünewald Hall, they present the classical flute repertoire with music by Haydn, Mozart, Schubert, Mendelssohn and more. The concert begins with music by Franz Xaver Mozart, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s youngest son, whose ultimate fate was to remain forever in the shadow of his celebrated father. Here, we will hear his beautiful Rondo for flute and piano.
