Peace Through Sacred Chant
Experience the joyous and uplifting music of Snatam Kaur! At this concert, she will offer songs from her album Beloved and many other popular favourites.
With an enchanting mixture of traditional holy mantra and compositions with eastern and western influences alike, her previous albums Prem, Grace, Anand, Liberation’s Door and Light of the Naam have inspired listeners and brought them a deep sense of inner peace. But the best way to experience Snatam Kaur’s warmth, wisdom and music is through a live performance.
“Concerts give audiences the opportunity to experience the power of mantra,” says Snatam Kaur. “I know from my own experience that it is super healing and powerful to sing together. It allows us to release stress, tension and the feeling of being overwhelmed, which I think is fairly common in this day and age. It’s a way for people to find that sense of inner peace.”
Snatam Kaur is an American singer, peace activist and author who grew up in a Sikh and Kundalini Yoga tradition. She has a fantastic ability to transform traditional Sikh songs from India into modern music that speaks to the modern ear.
