Cancelled: Blacknuss

This concert is cancelled.

The popular music collective comes to Konserthuset for the first time ever.Ever-relevant Blacknuss is an institution of the Swedish music scene!Since the club was formed, led by Martin Jonsson at Fasching in Stockholm in the early 90s, Blacknuss has been the epicentre of modern soul in Stockholm. Over the years, the list of artists with whom they have collaborated has become a veritable who’s who of the Swedish soul elite – Robyn, Titiyo, Lisa Nilsson, Christian Falk, and now artists like Mary N’Diaye, Prince Mpedzisi, Desmond Foster and more. The Blacknuss collective is known for songs like Dinah, Last Night a DJ Saved My Life, Thinking of You and more.

Members as well as the group’s musical style and sound have varied over the years. With jazzy club music, disco and funk, the group’s hits continue and lean increasingly towards R&B, soul and great party music. Bandleader Martin Jonsson makes sure the ensemble keeps the beat – without losing the classic groove that has become their signature. Blacknuss will now perform at Konserthuset Stockholm for the first time ever, and guarantee a special focus on Afro-beat and reggae!
