This concert will take place 17 January 2023.

***

The Schoenbrunn Palace Orchestra is one of the musical city of Vienna’s most prominent ensembles. Only the foremost musicians and vocal soloists appear in the ensemble, which is performing with a repertoire from the world-famous televised concert that is broadcast on New Year’s Day.

When the orchestra is not on tour, it performs concerts (which are always sold out!) in the beautiful orangery at Schoenbrunn Palace.

The orchestra annually tours Japan, Australia, the US, South America and Russia, and concert hall directors and critics alike consistently conclude that “no one performs Viennese music like Viennese musicians”. A guest performance by the Schoenbrunn Palace Orchestra, which is highly coveted around the world, is a unique and unparalleled experience.

This tour includes stops at Scandinavia’s leading concert halls, and audiences will enjoy familiar classics from the TV broadcasts. Naturally, each concert concludes with Johan Strauss the Elder’s Radetzky March, in which the audience may participate rhythmically under the conductor’s leadership.
