Happy days are here again

Viktoria Tolstoy, guitarist Erik Söderlind, Stockholm Voices and Blue House Jazz Orchestra – finally concert-goers are welcomed to a new Blue House Jazz series.

A welcome back concert! Blue House Jazz Orchestra with prestigious guests invite you to an evening of classic, swinging big band music. Yes, Happy Days are Here Again, the tune of 1929, stands as a motto for a programme that will put a smile on your face.

Trumpeter and singer Peter Asplund leads the big band and we get to meet the prize-winning guitarist Erik Söderlind and the impeccable vocalist Viktoria Tolstoy (who recently performed in Konserthuset Stockholm in a livestreamed concert with her own band, available here) as well as the playful and multi-talented singers of Stockholm Voices (they also did a livestream during the pandemic, available here).

So yes, Happy days are here again – and that’s something that is now vividly confirmed by high-energy big band music.
