A SPARKLING EPIPHANY

The traditional, festive and richly varied Epiphany Concert!

Elin Rombo is one of our most acclaimed sopranos internationally. She debuted at the Salzburg Festival in the summer of 2009 in the titular role in Luigi Nono’s Al gran sole carico d’amore. She has performed numerous roles at the Royal Swedish Opera, including Blanche in Poulenc’s Dialogues of the Carmelites, Musetta in Puccini’s La Bohème, Susanna in Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro and the young Batseba at the world premiere of Sven-David Sandström’s Batseba. She is now in the spotlight as Sophie in Strauss’ Der Rosenkavalier and Fiordiligi in Mozart’s Così fan tutte. She will also perform the role of the Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute at the Berlin State Opera.

The Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra will be led at this concert by Stefan Solyom, chief conductor of the Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra. He is a frequent guest with, among others, the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Norrköping Symphony Orchestra, Frankfurt Radio Symphony and the Lahti Symphony Orchestra.
